Climate-related Risk Management

In light of the SFC’s regulatory requirements on climate-related risks, Tenbagger Hong Kong integrates climate-related considerations into its asset management activities.

The Board of Directors (the “Board”) has appointed the senior management of Tenbagger Hong Kong, including the Executive Director and Head of Operations (“Senior Management”), to be responsible for managing climate-related risks. The Senior Management convenes on an annual basis to track the progress of Tenbagger Hong Kong’s efforts in managing such risks and to regularly review and approve the climate-related risk policies.

Tenbagger Hong Kong integrates climate-related risk management into its investment process by considering certain risk factors that may affect long-term returns of the equity issuer when constructing investment portfolios. The relevant risk factors include, but not limited to, industry sector, products or services, governance measures the issuer has in place to manage climate-related risks and climate-related risk ratings/ESG ratings of the issuer provided by third-parties. 

The Senior Management meets regularly to assess and monitor the impact of climate-related risks on portfolios under Tenbagger Hong Kong’s management and reports to the Board should there be any issues. The Board and Senior Management shall take reasonable steps to mitigate such risks and resolve issues in a timely manner.
